Verdigris Brass Stampings

If there is one thing I love it is that old world look of Patina and Verdigris! I started to make my own once I learned how and I use the natural method which is well toxic! Of course they are sealed so once I am finished they no longer pose a hazard and besides they will last forever and no worry on your skin turning green (yay)!

Vintage Brass Stampings - Patina and Verdigris hand-aged by me.

Today I wanted to share with you some pieces I have been making. I don't have them listed in my etsy shop as of yet, but hopefully they will be up for sale this week! Alot of these stampings are large, vintage, ornate and some of them I got out of a old Miriam Haskell warehouse! They were not made by her but these were left over stock.

Miriam Haskell Stamping

Here is an Interesting Fact you may not know: Miriam Haskell was never the designer. Many people think she was, but she was a superior businesswoman, the person who had the vision for the company. She may have designed early on when she opened her first boutique, but shortly thereafter a fellow by the name of Frank Hess was the designer for the company until 1960.

Renee Larson Everything Lovely Designs This Jewelry Set

I asked one of my customers who had bought some vintage Montana Blue Swarovski Tiffany style settings from my shop a few months ago, if she would be so kind as to send me a picture or two of her designs. I was very interested in seeing how she used those gorgeous settings. I had a feeling she had done something spectacular, and she did! So beautiful and unique, I was stunned and impressed with what she dreampt up. Here are the pictures of Renee Larson's Design. Enjoy....
